How to Wrestle Wyrms for the Sons of Hodir in World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King
One of the new factions in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, the Sons of Hodir are a group of frost giants in Storm Peaks. They have several daily quests that you must do to gain reputation with them, one of which involves wrestling a Frost Wyrm with naught but a spear. Here's how to emerge victorious.

1
Collect the quest. You must complete a chain of quests in order to become Neutral with the Sons of Hodir. You must then complete another series of quests to obtain the Wyrm Wrestling quest. Once the quest is open to you, fly up to the spear in Dun Niffelem and accept the quest.
-
2
Head south of Dun Niffelem and land on one of the cliffs nearby. Wait for a Wyrm to fly by, then use your spear on them to grab them.
-
-
3
Keep grabbing! The '1' button lets you grab the Wyrm tighter. You should be hitting this every other button you press. If you don't hit this often enough, you will lose your grip and fall to your death. Attack, grab, attack, grab.
-
4
Dodge and use the big attack when the cooldown is up. The '2' button allows you to dodge one of the Wyrm's attacks and the '4' button allows you to use a big attack with a long cooldown. Timing these correctly is very tricky, so just aim to hit them every time their cooldowns are up.
-
5
Use your primary attack. The '3' button is your low-power, primary attack. It has a fast cooldown and should be hit just after the Grab command is used. Swap grab and this attack for the first phase of the fight.
-
6
Pry the jaws open. When you've done enough damage to the Wyrm, it will go into phase 2. You will have two buttons. '1' will pry the jaws of the Wyrm open, giving it a stacking debuff and a shot at a killing blow. '3' attempts a killing blow. Use Pry five times (watch for the debuff to stack to 5) then try for a killing blow. It doesn't always work on the first try, so stack another five Pry attacks as quickly as you can, then try for another killing strike.
-
7
Leave the vehicle once the Wyrm is dead. Don't worry, dropping to the ground only kills the Wyrm; it doesn't kill you.
