Things You'll Need:
- Toothpaste - I like to use white especially on light wood but any color is fine as long as it is not gel.
- Soft Cloth
-
Step 1
Dab of ToothpasteCover your index finger with the soft cloth. Squeeze a small amount of the toothpaste about 1/2 the size of a pea on your index finger.
-
Step 2
GENTLY scrub the stained area with the grain of the table. Leave the paste on the stain for about 2 minutes and allow the toothpaste to sink into the stain.
-
Step 3
After you have allowed this to sit for a few minutes take a clean part of your cloth and GENTLY scrub with the grain again. Make sure not to press to hard as this will make a shinny spot on the surface.
-
Step 4
Continue all of these steps until the spot is removed. Clean the wood in the manufactures recommended fashion and treat the wood.
