Don't you admire those who have that perfect updo and wonder how you can do the same? Well now you too can have that prima ballerina perfect bun in no time and it only takes a few household products to concoct it. Style away!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • panyhose you don't use
  • cotton balls
  • hairspray
  • bobby pins or hair pins
  • ponytail holder (elastic)
  1. Step 1

First, brush and gather your hair into a somewhat high ponytail and secure with an elastic ponytail holder.

  2. Step 2

Now take the panyhose and cut about a 6 in segment of panyhose with open end on each side. Take about 6-10 cotton balls and stuff the panyhose until it has a tube shape.

  3. Step 3

Tie the ends together into a knot. The pantyhose and cotton balls should make a cirle and should be big enough to fit over your ponytail.

  4. Step 4

Place this hair invention around your ponytale by pulling it througt the middle.

  5. Step 5

Take about 1-in. segments and wrap around the pantyhose and secure firmly with bobby pins or hair pins. Repeat this process until the panyhose is hidden and there is no hair left to be pinned. Your bun should now be very nice and neat.

  6. Step 6

Spray any loose or wild hair into place with hairspray.

  7. Step 7

Voila! You now have the perfect bun and you did it all by yourself.
To add a little bit of glitz and glam you can also pin wild flowers around your bun. Christmas garland also looks beautiful wrapped around the bun. Use your imagination to come up with other original ideas.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try to evenly pin hair segments around panythose.
  • Hide end pieces underneath hair
  • 6- in segment of pantyhose is just a guideline. You can adjust to your liking.
