For a stacked bead necklace pendant, gather a good variety of beads and spacers. Use headpins to stack the beads on.
The more beads you have to work with, the more creative you can be. Use a large focal bead and smaller spacer beads to make a statement. -

Stack the beads in different ways on your headpin to see what looks good to you. If you don't like the arrangement, slide the beads off and start over. -

Large focal beads make a statement. If you're a nature lover, try using flowers or butterfly beads. If you like more modern designs, use dichroic glass. More of a natural person, use clay beads for an earthy look.
