Instructions

    • 1

Take some White Out and coat the bottom and sides of the chip in the tub. Make sure that the color matches pretty closely to the tub. This might take multiple coats.

    • 2

Let the White Out dry completely.

    • 3

Fill the chip with a quick drying epoxy. It must be epoxy so that it adheres correctly and will be waterproof. When we did this to our tub we used the kind that mixed instantly which made it much easier. Make sure that the epoxy is even with the tub before you let it set to dry.

    • 4

Let the epoxy set for about 20-30 minutes to make sure it has had time to adhere and dry properly. If the chip is larger you might want to allow more time.

    • 5

Once the epoxy has dried take some fine 180 grit sandpaper and lightly smooth out the surface of the epoxy to make sure it is even with the rest of the tub. Do not over do it though because you could hurt the tub's finish.

Let the tub sit unused overnight to make sure everything has set properly. Then you can use and clean the tub as you normally would.
