How to Send Email via Text Message

Ever wondered how to send a message to someone's email address if your phone is not email capable or is not configured? Or if your internet on your phone is not working and cannot connect to your E-mail client. Here are some really easy steps on how to do it by just sending a simple text message! You will be able to send and receive Emails as text messages on your phone easily!

Things You'll Need

• Any type of phone that does sms
• A good Text message plan(unlimited recommended for adicted people)
• Good Text typing experienced fingers
• At least 1 or 2 friends who will receive your annoying messages.

Instructions

1. Follow the instructions for writing and sending a text message. In the MESSAGE BODY(just like if you are typing a normal message), use either of the following formats:

   E-mail with subject line:
   Destination E-mail address (space) #subject# (space) message text

   Example: [e-mail] #Hi# Want to meet for dinner tonight?

2. E-mail without subject line:
   Destination e-mail address (space) # (space ) message text
   Example: [e-mail] # Want to meet for dinner tonight?

   In some cases for some PDA phones we have to change the (#) to a (/)
   EXAMPLE: [e-mail] / Hello / Hi, I'm e-mailing you from my phone.

3. When prompted for the destination address, enter the number 500 instead of the phone#

   NOTE: The number 500 is the e-mail server number.

• Your friend will be able to reply back to you!

• Great for people with PDA's with problems connecting to their email clients

• Great for sending messages to anywhere in the world without getting charged as international sms.

• Great way to stay in contact with friends that donnot have a phone yet, but spend most of their time in the computer and checking their e-mails.
