Start by placing the pendant on the center of the beading wire. Begin to bead both sides in the same pattern going away from the pendant. Stop beading when the desired length is reached. Remember to factor in the length that the clasp will add on.

Finish off the ends with the clasp by using crimp beads following the instructions that come with the crimping tool. You will likely need additional pliers to pull the wire through. Add crimp covers if desired for a more polished look.

  4. Step 4

Enjoy your new necklace. If you feel inspired use some beading elastic and create a matching bracelet!

Tips & Warnings
  • I find it easiest to start with a pendant that inspires you. Then look for beads that complement the focal piece.
  • Practice with inexpensive supplies at the craft store to start.
  • A handcrafted necklace makes a wonderful gift.
