Things You'll Need:
- glass pendant
- glass beads
- beading wire
- crimp beads
- clasp & findings to go with clasp
- crimp covers if desired
- wire cutters
- crimping tool
- pliers
-
Step 1
suppliesFirst gather the supplies and beads you would like to work with. Cut the beading wire with an extra 4" length than you would like the completed necklace to be.
-
Step 2
bead wireStart by placing the pendant on the center of the beading wire. Begin to bead both sides in the same pattern going away from the pendant. Stop beading when the desired length is reached. Remember to factor in the length that the clasp will add on.
-
Step 3
crimpFinish off the ends with the clasp by using crimp beads following the instructions that come with the crimping tool. You will likely need additional pliers to pull the wire through. Add crimp covers if desired for a more polished look.
-
Step 4
Enjoy your new necklace. If you feel inspired use some beading elastic and create a matching bracelet!
