Find the best ways to save money now. Each and every day we waste enough money to pay a bill we owe. So you can work to get the extra money or you can work to save the money.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Budget
  • Desire to Save
  1. Step 1

How to find the best ways to save money at home-

First of all if you haven't already you need to start replacing your light bulbs with the new eco-friendly ones that last for years. You will regonize them by their trademark curvy bulb.

Second, stop the money leaks at the doors and windows. If you feel a draft you are throwing money out the window 24/7 and keeping your utility company's doors open. They should send you a Thank You note. Roll up towels and put in the window sills and at the bottom of the doors.

Third, Electronics suck the life out of your savings plan. Unplug any appliances not in use. Cell phone chargers, tvs, boom boxes, games, etc. Plug it in when you need it unplug when you don't.

  2. Step 2

How to find the best ways to save money at work-

Brown bag your lunches. Sometimes eating out with co-workers can add up tremendously. Bring a lunch, snack, and drinks. If they don't provide refrigeration a small cooler is fine.

Business attire can be found at used clothing store for pennies on the dollar. Do not discard this idea, just go shop and see for yourself. You can find some bargains in modern clothing in like new condition.

  3. Step 3

How to find the best ways to save money with kids-

Adapt a new rule, Disconnect-Get a Check. Kids have so many electronics in the home. If they disconnect the ones that are not in use at the moment, it would be the same as getting a job and making the same amount of money. Instead of sending them off to work to get a check have them do it right in their own homes. They also feel they can contribute to the household in this way. Don't just turn those computers off at night, disconnect them.

Kids can save by having swap parties. Have all their friends bring an item they wish to swap and all swaps are even. They can bring clothing, shoes, games, cell phones, gift cards, etc.
