Tired of looking at the same old home page every time you turn on your computer and click on your firefox icon ? Or are you just in the mood for a change of scenery, but do not know how to change your home page? No problem , I will tell you a simple way, to change your home page. Which can be done in less than two minutes.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • Internet Connection
  1. Step 1

    Turn on your computer and wait for it to load. Once your computer loads up ,turn on your internet connection.

  2. Step 2

    Once your computer gets connected to the internet. Double click on the firefox icon. And wait for your firefox browser to open up. After it opens up let your home page load up completely.

  3. Step 3

    After your home page is completely loaded and visible. Click on the tools menu ( which is located at the top of the screen) and scroll down to options. Once you reach options double click it. When you double click options, a options box will open up. Under home page you will see location(s). And to the right of location(s), you will see a white box containing you current home page web address. To change your current web address , simply erasing the home page web address. You can do this by putting your mouse cursor in the white box and press backspace key on your keyboard. Until the current address is completely gone. Then type in the new address in the box.(For ex. for google.com you would type in: http://www.google.com/.) After typing in your new home page address. Click the use current page button and then click the OK button located at the bottom of the option(s)box.

  4. Step 4

    Now close the browser and double click the firefox icon again. So you can open a new browser. Once you open the browser, your new home page will appear.

Tips & Warnings
  • When choosing a home page, it is a good idea to select a page which does not contain many pictures and advertisements on it. Plain and simple pages load much quicker. And are easier to navigate through.
