It is a great way to stay motivated. You can help encourage each other and even engage in a little friendly competition by coming together for this exciting event. It is relatively easy to start a weight loss challenge and the benefits are numerous and plentiful. What are you waiting for? Let's get going today!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A scale
  • Friends
  • Dedication
  1. Step 1

The first thing you need to do for the weight loss challenge is gather the contestants. Gather at least one partner if not more and discuss the possibility of beginning this kind of competition.

  2. Step 2

Before you begin this ultimate weight loss challenge you will need everyone to agree to the rules. How long will it last? What days and times are best for everyone to weigh-in? Should we ban diet pills and medicines? What will be the reward for the winner(s)? You might pick honor and bragging rights, money, a vacation, a gift certificate, a TV or computer, etc.

  3. Step 3

Before you start a weight loss challenge be sure to have an initial weigh-in where everyone will step on the scale and their beginning weight will be recorded in a log book. You should get someone to be a witness to ensure that they are telling the truth about their weight. After this have a follow up weigh-in weekly to bi-weekly to check on everyone's progress.

  4. Step 4

When the day comes for the final weigh-in then determine who has dropped the most pounds or the highest percentage of their fat and body weight. Declare that person the winner of your weight loss challenge and let them enjoy the prize!

Tips & Warnings
  • Consult a doctor to make sure that this will not be harmful to your health.
  • Be extremely careful if you do decide to use weight loss pills or supplements. Some of these are dangerous, so avoid them. Make sure they are safe first.
