Silver is a very good choice for some safe investing because it is much cheaper in gold and yet it is so pretty. Investing in silver is a tricky process since you have to know a guy who sells the silver or the silver stocks.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A coin or jewelry store.
  1. Step 1

Pay close attention to the silver prices. Make sure that they are low at that time. You can go to http://www.kitco.com/charts/livesilver.html to help you.

  2. Step 2

Find a good coin or jewelry store that sells silver rounds. Many places have silver rounds made for special occasions like Christmas or Valentine's Day. Make sure you find a place close to you that sells those types of rounds.

  3. Step 3

Wait until just after the holidays and check to see if the dealer has any rounds that are now obsolete. That dealer would sell those at market place rather than at inflated prices to make a profit.

  4. Step 4

Buy as many as those rounds as you could.

Tips & Warnings
  • If the dealer didn't have any obsolete rounds, do not give up. Check at least once a week to see if he has any extras. Go to different stores.
  • Remember, the prices of silver can go up or down so keep an eye on it.
