Buried Treasure
Buried Treasure

Many times our Assets go unused… and that is because they just set… and they set because we see no real value in them… as the old cliche goes… “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” If you have ever been to a yard sale then you might understand what I mean. But if you have never enjoyed this experience and you’ve only bought what you have off the rack then you are use to another man’s left over’ s too… because somebody left it behind for you. Everything has value, and beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder… here do this and God will show you:

Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A good man
  • The spirit of truth
  • Hope
  1. Step 1
    A poor mans breakfast
    A poor mans breakfast

Eat half of a sandwich and leave the other half on a park bench… now the rich man sees trash, but the homeless see a free meal.

  2. Step 2
    In God we trust
    In God we trust

Take that dress that has one button on it to the Goodwill … now you can’t sew on a button to save your life and it cost more than the dress is worth to you, just to go through the trouble of getting someone else to do it for you… but for 35 cent worth of buttons, 3 dollars for the dress and a sewing skill; I can put this thing back together by Saturday and make it to church on Sunday.

  3. Step 3
    Home to the Homeless
    Home to the Homeless

Live in a hotel room until you can do better… now for some that is no way to live, especially if you have children, but the jobs don’t pay where I live and where you live the houses cost more money; so a hotel room meets my needs about half way.

  4. Step 4
    A Cat
    A Cat

Ride the city bus… now this is a pain in the butt, but I can’t afford the car and a house. I got to get the money to pay the rent somehow… the bus will replace the car, I can buy the house or pay the rent as long as I can get to the job that will give me the money I need in the first place… that to some is called a waste of time.

Tips & Warnings
  • To the rich man I look poor ... and in the eye of another man I’m doing big things.
  • It’s not what you got… it’s how you use it that counts.
  • You might lose out on a perfect opportunity because you failed to take a second look.
  • You can’t make it to heaven if you don’t try.
