Step 1
Find your "My Computer" icon. Right-click it, and then left click on "Properties". Usually you can find "My Computer" icon on the desktop. If you do not see it on your desktop click on the "Start" button and you will see the "My Computer". If you still cannot see, it follow step no. 3 to find it.

Step 2
In the screen that comes up, look at the tab called "General" it would say how much memory your PC has. In the image on the left, the PC has 1.99 GB of memory.

Step 3
If you cannot find the "My Computer" icon, open "System" by clicking the Start button, clicking "Control Panel", clicking "System and Maintenance", and then clicking "System". Now you should be able to see the memory as described in step no. 2.
