We all know how expensive gas is and we all wish we could find a way to save money at the pump. While we can't control how much gas costs there are ways to save gas when you are driving. By using less gas you will save money. Let me show you how to save gas when driving.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Slow Down! Driving the speed limit will reduce the amount of gas you use. Driving over the speed limit uses much more gas than driving within the speed limit or slower.

  2. Step 2

Use your cruise control! This will help you to save gas by maintaining a constant speed. When using cruise control there is less fluctuation in your speed which means you use less gas.

  3. Step 3

Turn your car off when stopped. If you are going to be stopped for more than one or two minutes turn your car off rather than waste gas. If you are in a long line at the bank save some gas and money by turning your car off!

Tips & Warnings
  • One of the best ways to save gas is by car pooling. If you can car pool please do so.
