Things You'll Need:
- A boyfriend or girlfriend to practice on
-
Step 1
The first Spanish love saying that you should know is "te quiero". Literally, "te quiero" means "I want you" or "I like you". However, this is used to express an affection for someone with whom you are romantically involved.
At the beginning of a relationship when attraction and affection are being developed, you should use "te quiero" to express your affection. -
Step 2
As the relationship advances and you begin to find yourself seriously in love, then you will want to learn to say the Spanish love saying "te amo". However, it may be that "te amo" is heard less than "I love you" in English. Perhaps when you are saying Spanish love sayings, "te amo" is considered a very serious statement and implies a very deep love.
-
Step 3
Another way of expressing attraction, if not love, in Spanish is "te deseo". This literally means "I desire you". This is generally used to express a physical attraction toward a person rather than an emotional attraction. It can be used to imply that you want physical intimacy with your partner.
-
Step 4
Another Spanish love saying is "te adoro". "Te adoro" means "I adore you" in English. It's meaning in Spanish is closer to "I love you" than "I am sitting here adoring you."
-
Step 5
A final Spanish love saying that you might hear is "te necesito". This means, "I need you."
-
Step 6
Now that you've learned how to say some Spanish love sayings, get out there and practice them on someone you love!

on 5/20/2009 Sure beats learning the cuss Spanish words my former truck driving husband used to try to share with me. I think I'm going to show him that there are much finer ways to speak Spanish. Muey Bien!
