A healthy home-made salad isn't hard to prepare. As long as you have the right ingredients it can be done. In this article you'll learn how to prepare a salad that is healthy and tastes great.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • lettuce or romaine hearts
  • Caesar or ranch croutons
  • corn oil
  • sliced carrots
  • sliced tomatoes
  • sliced pickles
  • sliced cheese
  • salt
  • pepper
  • red pepper
  • lemon juice
  • mixing bowl
  1. Step 1

    Step 1: Chop the lettuce or romaine hearts, whichever one it is that you prefer. Chop them up into small pieces, not too small and not to big.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2: After chopping up the lettuce or romaine hearts, pour it into a big and deep mixing bowl.

  3. Step 3

    Step 3: Spread sliced carrots and the sliced cheese over the lettuce.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4: Then, spread the sliced pickles and tomatoes into the bowl.

  5. Step 5

    Step 5: Next, spread the crouttons onto the other ingredients.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6: Add about a teaspoon or desired amount of salt and red pepper.

  7. Step 7

    Step 7: Pour a desired amount of lemon juice on top of the salad.

    Step 8: Add just a little bit of corn oil.

    Step 9: Use a big spoon and mix the salad from top to bottom very well for about 30 seconds.

    Step 10: Pour into a clean bowl and your set to eat. Enjoy!
