Step 1
Most kids adore string cheese. Turn that love into a healthy meal. Simply take the string cheese and cut it in half so you have two smaller pieces of cheese. Wrap a piece of ham or turkey around the cheese. Serve it with some crackers and sliced strawberries.
-
Step 2
Combine one cup of plain yogurt with 1/2 of a package of onion soup mix. Cut up baby carrots, celery, chicken strips (leftovers) and serve with the mix. Kids love to dip their food! An apple completes this meal well.
-
Step 3
Make a fruit kebab. Alternate different fruits on a stick for a tasty treat or dessert. Grapes, apples, cantaloupe, pineapple, and marshmallows are all wonderful choices for fruit kebabs.
-
Step 4
Bento style lunch ideas are very popular these days also. They Japanese art packing lunches can be taken on a smaller scale and tailored to your child's likes.
