The the realm that is Myspace, there are those of you who want some kind of fame. It can be getting as many friends as you can, or possibly trying to sell something (hair services, promoting a band, etc). This guide is to help you reach the level of being able to join these elite groups and applying for them.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Camera
  • Computer with internet access
  • A photo editing program (photoshop, picassa, JASC, paintshop pro etc)
  • A myspace profile
  • About an hour a day
  • Previous experience with myspace
  1. Step 1
Nyko Ongawa's (that's me) myspace home page. myspace.com/nyko_ongawa

Make sure you have your own Myspace page(see links below). Be sure to have a profile picture Default up and add as many people as you truly know. Find a cute layout if you want. This may take some time, but make your profile reflect you.

  2. Step 2

Now you need to increase your friends list.

After filling out your interest's, networking, and schools/jobs sections, click on each link form your profile page to view who has the same interest. Try the best you can to add at least 100 people a day.

  3. Step 3

Once you get up to your 100-300 friend acceptance, go to addme sites like MaxAdds, or mobsterAdds (see links below). Once these people become your friend, go onto their profile and add their top friends. If it looks like they are willing to add anyone (or appear to be at least the subculture 'scene') then add them. Leave a note saying hello or thank you when you do. Do this on a daily basis.

  4. Step 4

Once you reach the 1k (1,000) friends mark; Congrats!!!

You've come really far. usually that for thousand is the hardest.

Now it's time to focus on your pictures. I'm pretty sure you have probed the pcitures and photos of your fellow friends. It's time for you to figure out how to make those poses yourself.

Google for 'scene looks' there are many. Pick one that will reflect yourself nicely.

Create yourself in the persona and take pictures at various distances, angles, and with other things and people. Cell phone and web cam pictures will not be accepted by vanity groups!

Tips & Warnings
  • When looking for the proper tutorials for image editing, follow the links below to see what you can find.
  • You don't have to follow the 'scene' culture to do this.
  • PC4PC = picture comment for picture comment: comment on their pictures and they will comment on yours
  • w4w/s4s:
  • /support for
  • /supprt:
  • Sometimes its best to have a separate profile on myspace from your personal one.
  • Always create a backup myspace. Profiles with high friend counts are prone to be hacked by others.
  • If you are between the ages of 13 - 16, this will be difficult because most the other myspacers altered their age in order to get more adds.
  • Disclaimer: I don't condone nor promote the use of altering you age or falsifying any personal information to complete this task. If you do so, it is only because you yourself chose to do so.
  • On the add me sites, the increase of tabs/windows can become too great for your computer. Complete a row at a time and you should be fine.
