How to Clear Chat History on Facebook
Are you a Facebook social networking site user? Do you use the chat utility on the site to talk to your friends. Do you sometimes write some things that you do not want other people with access to your account to read? Until you get used to using the application, it can be a little confusing to find out how to clear your chat history. This article presents a method to erase your tracks.

Navigate to Facebook social networking site.

If you have installed the chat application, the bottom left of the screen you will see the online friends. Click in that area and a panel will slide up showing your online friends that you can chat with.

Once that panel appears, click on the friend that you have chatted with and wish to clear the chat history for.

Scroll to the very top of the chat panel and click the Clear History link. Any incriminating chat history has now been deleted.

when I try to delete message from my account, it doesn't give me a prompt to delete them. also, I am not able to access the chat line, would this have anthing to do with me not being able to delete my messages... please help me with this matter...
