Disneyland, the original theme park in Anaheim, California, offers its own set of ticket specials on the company website. Most of the tickets are "hoppers" that cover Disneyland and the Disney Califronia Adventure Park. A discount ticket can be helpful since the extra costs of food, parking and hotel accommodations can add up. The best way to find discounts is to plan ahead and keep up with any special offers. In 2011, for example, Disney had a $15 discount for some tickets bought before October 1.

Instructions

1. Click the tickets page of the Disneyland website. As of 2011, The site had hopper offers for three to six days that cost $183 to $216 for children ages 3 to 9 and $199 to $236 for everyone else.

2. Check the websites of warehouse and grocery stores in the Anaheim area. Places like Costco sometimes have packages for several theme parks in the area. A ticket purchased at the store needs to be exchanged at the Disneyland Guest booths as you enter the park.

3. Look up special deals through city or regional travel sites. For example, Disneyland was included in the Southern California CityPass for 2011. The total price was $276, but it included a three-day hopper bonus ticket to Disneyland, and single-day admissions to Universal Studios and SeaWorld in San Diego.
