Love Grand Marnier, but just a bit too sweet? Add a kick of Hennessey!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 clean shot glasses
  • 1 oz - Hennessey
  • 1 oz - Grand Marnier
  • Highball glass or Brandy snifter
  • Optional items for warming Grand Marnier - Glass bowl, filled half way with warm water - Collins Glass (vessel for Grand Marnier during warming)
  1. Step 1

Always start with clean gear. Make sure your shot glasses, and snifters or highball glasses are VERY clean. Any residue on your glasses will alter the taste of your fine spirits!

  2. Step 2

**Optional Step: Gently warm your Grand Marnier. You can do this, by pouring some into a collins glass, and setting the collins glass into a larger glass/bowl with warm water in it, or by using a warming snifter. I prefer it just warmer than room temperature, but NOT hot!

***You don't need to warm this, but try it this way at least once!!

  3. Step 3

Use a shot glass to first measure and pour 1 oz. of Hennessey into your highball/snifter.

  4. Step 4

Use a separate, clean shotglass to measure and pour 1 oz. of Grand Marnier to the highball/snifter that contains the Hennessey.

  5. Step 5

Swirl the glass gently, don't stir!

  6. Step 6

    Drink! (but don't drive!)
