Rent Tuxedo for Wedding

If you want to know how to rent a cheap tux, tuxedo or monkey suit, you came to the right place. If you are going to prom or a wedding, you will need to rent a tux. Renting a tuxedo is simple but takes a little time. Renting a tux is something you do not want to procrastinate on. This is how to rent a tux.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

First you will want to find a reputable tuxedo location. If you live near a mall, there is typically a tux store in most malls. A tuxedo shop is not something you look for very often, so it may be necessary to look through the phone book. Shopping online may offer a better price.

  2. Step 2

Now you will want to go investigate the store. Take your buddies with you if they are being fitted as well. Browse through the different kinds of tuxedos they offer. They will have some available to see, and some available in catalogs. Try to find a tux that will be different from typical tuxedos. Look at wearing a black undershirt as opposed to a white shirt. Find what best suits your taste. No punn intended.

  3. Step 3

Once you have decided on a tux, you will need to be fitted. Let the sales clerk know which tux you are interested in, and they will take your measurements. Make sure and cooperate with the person taking measurements. You do not want to get your tux and it be too short in the sleeves. After you have been measured, you will more than likely need to put down a deposit. You will be required to pay the rest when you pick up the tux.

  4. Step 4

After the event, make sure to take the tuxedo back on time. Do not forget to bring back items like cuff links or socks. Items like these are easy to forget, but will end up costing you if you forget them. Depending on the store, you may be required to pay when you drop the tuxedo off. If you are attending a wedding, see if you can arrange to have one person drop all the tuxedos off. If you are the groom, traditionally the best man will return the tuxedo for you.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure to return everything that you rented. Lost or forgotten items will be charged to you.
