How to get Yahoo! Messenger

Instructions

1. 

   Enter www.yahoo.com in the address bar. This will take you directly to Yahoo’s! homepage.

2. 

   Look to the right of the screen. You should see a box that reads “Messenger”; click that.

3. 

   Yahoo! will now bring you to a new screen. Look to the right of the screen and select “Download Now”.

4. 

   Another Yahoo! screen will appear and it will ask you, once again, to click “Download Now”. Make sure to read the instructions to the left of the button before downloading.

5. 

   A little window will appear on your screen; this is from Yahoo!; select “Run”.

6. 

   Yahoo! will verify your computer before you can continue to install.

7. 

   A new window will appear on your screen, again. All you need to do is select “Run”.

8. 

   Yahoo! will prepare to install.

9. 

   A Yahoo! window will appear on your screen. After reading everything in the window and selecting the boxes, if you would like, select “Next”.

10. 

    Read through the Policy provided on the new window that appears. If you agree, select the agreement box and push “Next”.

11. 

    Select “Install” if on the new window if you are ready to install Yahoo! Messenger.

12. 

    Yahoo! Messenger will begin to install onto your computer. If you wish to cancel the installation, you can click “Cancel” located at the bottom-right of the installation window.

13. 

    Once the installation has completed, select “Finish”. You will also notice a “Yahoo! Messenger” icon located on your desktop. You can access Yahoo! Messenger at anytime through that icon.

14. 

    The Yahoo! sign in window will appear on your screen. Simply log in using your Yahoo! ID and you’re good to go chat!
