Things You'll Need:
- Billiards Table
- Cue Stick
- Billiards Balls
-
Step 1
Diamond SystemFirst you must learn to use the diamond system. If you look at a pool table there is a series of some geometric shape but it is referred to as the "Diamond System". Each diamond is in someway connected to another diamond on the table.
-
Step 2
Simple BanksIf used correctly the diamond system ultimately results in a shot into a pocket as shown with this easy bank shots.
-
Step 3
Moderately Difficult BanksBank shots range from simple to difficult as shown by this picture of the more challenging shots.
-
Step 4
Using your stickNow if you don't have an eye for bank shots the simple solution is to use your stick. The 2 sticks form an angle that shows the directory of the ball if it is hit from the middle diamond to the end diamond. Resulting in pocketing the target ball in the side pocket.
-
Step 5
All that's left now is to go out and practice. Some simple drills are put the cue ball where ever you want and just shoot at the diamonds to see what happens, or just keep playing games. The more you play the better you'll get.
