I love pasta, lasagna is one of my favorite meals. But I hate the amount of time I end up spending when I cook it. I also got sick of the amount of dishes I had to clean when it was all done. So I came up with a simple, quick and easy version involving fewer dishes.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 box of noodles ( I recommend Ziti or Rotini noodles)
  • 1 lb of ground beef or Sausage
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 Jar of the tomato sauce of your choice
  • 16 oz of Ricotta Cheese
  • 8oz of shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 TBS of Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 TBS of Garlic Powder
  • Pepper
  • 1 medium onion
  1. Step 1

    Preheat your oven to 350.

  2. Step 2

In a medium skillet brown the ground beef or sausage, with the onion sliced into thin pieces.

  3. Step 3

While the meat is browning cook the pasta according to the directions on the box.

  4. Step 4

In a large baking dish mix together the cheeses, egg and garlic powder.

  5. Step 5

When the meat is browned drain the grease and add the bottle of Tomato Sauce to the meat.

  6. Step 6

Then add the meat mixture into the cheese( using 1/2 of the mozzarella cheese) mixture and stir until combined.

  7. Step 7

When the noodles are done mix them into the meat and cheese mixture. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top and cover with foil.

  8. Step 8

Bake for 15 mins. Than remove the foil and continue baking for another 10 mins to brown the cheese!

  9. Step 9

    Enjoy!
