Things You'll Need:
- Nothing, just read!

Step 1
Also, see my article on how to measure your bra size, how to find a good bra, how to launder your bras, and common misconceptions about bras.
Remember when you are trying on bras, to adjust the straps to about half way to start, see how that feels. If the wires are poking into your breasts, the cup size is too small. -
Step 2
If the wire is poking your underarm, the cup size is too big.
-
Step 3
If the back of your bra strap rides up uncomfortably, it is most likely the wrong band size (that would be the number) and usually the problem is it's too small around.
-
Step 4
If there is a bulge from the bra to the breast, the cup size is too small.

on 10/21/2009 Your point #3 couldn't be more wrong. A bra band that rides up in the back means that the band width is TOO BIG, not that the bra, overall is too small, 90% of the time. I know, because I am a cosmetic surgeon who specializes in breast augmentation, breast reduction, and breast lifts. Please get your facts correct.
