Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

  • Paypal account
  • Email Account
  1. Step 1

Thousands of individuals and businesses make money being an Ebay Seller worldwide. Being scammed in a transaction is something we all want to avoid!

  2. Step 2

To get rid of Fraudulent people posing as ebay buyers, here are some careful steps to make.

  3. Step 3

In your auctions page, ask everyone with less than 10 feedback ratings to email you before bidding. This allows you to have a list of your possible bidders and a record you could send out to ebay for verification.

  4. Step 4

Never accept buyers from countries such as Nigeria, Africa and Malaysia. If a buyer comes from these countries they are probably scammers.

  5. Step 5

Always ask for paypal payments in your auctions page. If you receive an offer to end your auction early in favor of the seller buying it directly, use common sense to navigate through this. For example, always ask for the payment first before sending it out or even ending your auction.

  6. Step 6

Report to ebay fraud section any fraudulent or untrusted emails coming from supposed buyers!

  7. Step 7

Be communicative with your customers! Constant communication in between transactions is the key!

Tips & Warnings
  • Give subtle complements to your customers
  • Shell out positive feedback after every good transaction
  • Be very definitive of your auctions description
  • Always paypal as it is covered
