      Add a rod to the back of a closet door or inside a closet. Using spray adhesive, attach a piece of thin foam rubber around the rod. Drape ties or scarves over the rod.

      Attach clips to the front of a door-attached rod with glue or strong hook-and-loop fasteners. Use it to hang purses or belts.

      Hang a cafe curtain rod in your sewing area. Put your ribbon spools or rolls of tape along it for easy access.

      Hang curtain rods around in the garage to store rolls of tape or cords.
