How to Use Curtain Rods - Off the Window
The curtain rod is well known for its intended use: to hang curtains. However, it can serve many other uses throughout the house. Does this Spark an idea?

Add a rod to the back of a closet door or inside a closet. Using spray adhesive, attach a piece of thin foam rubber around the rod. Drape ties or scarves over the rod.

Attach clips to the front of a door-attached rod with glue or strong hook-and-loop fasteners. Use it to hang purses or belts.

Hang a cafe curtain rod in your sewing area. Put your ribbon spools or rolls of tape along it for easy access.

Hang curtain rods around in the garage to store rolls of tape or cords.

Hang rods in a child's closet at a low height so they can access the clothes.

Use S-hooks on a decorative, heavier rod in the kitchen to hang pots or cooking utensils.

Hang bathroom items, such as a curling iron and blow dryer, on a curtain rod.
