Make Valentine's Day, anniversaries and her birthday all about her. Take the time to celebrate instead of acting like it's any other day. Take her to dinner, spend time with her, give her a massage. These are days you can show her how much you love her without saying it.

Show her affection as often as possible. Hold her hand in public, give her a hug for "no reason," show her you want to be with her. Be compassionate and caring instead of acting like the two of you merely exist in the same space. Use physical closeness to show her you enjoy her company.

Buy her a nice gift to show you care outside of a holiday or birthday. If there's something you know she wants, like a set of earrings, purchase them for her and surprise her with an unexpected gift. If you want to go a more personal route, make her a collage of photos or a mix CD "just because." You might even send flowers to her office, where the unexpected delivery will make her feel special...and her co-workers envious.

Help your wife around the house so her life is less stressful. Take the time to clean up after yourself and the children, but most importantly, do it before she asks. Drive the children to soccer practice or dance class so she has time to herself. Fix the leaky sink or call and ask her if you can run an errand for her on your way home from work.
