Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • M1000 Qwest DSL Modem
  • W1000 Wireless Modem Module
  1. Step 1

    Unplug the power cord from the back of the M1000 Qwest DSL Modem. It is important that you make sure that the modem's power is OFF.

  2. Step 2

    Remove the cover from the top of the DSL Modem.

  3. Step 3

    Insert the wireless module into the top of the DSL Modem. Make sure it snaps down into both holes.

  4. Step 4

    Plug the power cord back into the back of the M1000 Qwest DSL Modem.

  5. Step 5

    Make sure that the Power and Wireless lights on the Wireless Module are solid green.

Tips & Warnings
  • Once the W1000 is installed, the wireless is ON. The Wireless Network Name and Password can be found on the label located on one side of the M1000 Qwest DSL Modem.
