The city of Angeles loves visitors, so if you decide to come to Los Angeles you may want to set aside the time to see the sites and sounds. However, if you feel that you are going to be paying alot, then your right. One of the most expensive cities in the country, Los Angeles is good to see on a budget. Here's how to save a few bucks while enjoying the city!

  1. Step 1

    Visit the shores along the pacific Ocean and feel the wind in your hair. Los Angeles is surrounded by some beautiful beaches, all of which are free and can give you a break from the city. Palo Verdes Estates are the best with free parking and a view of the city on both sides. Make sure you drive over to the Wayfairers Chapel (also free) to see a city landmark.

  2. Step 2

    Visit the free Los Angeles Public Library. While set in downtown Los Angeles, you can visit this amazing facility that once was the UCLA campus. Don't worry about paying any fees though as there is a free docent tour that gives you the highlights of the library and history of Los Angeles.

  3. Step 3

    Looking for some free Los Angeles that brings out the food? Grand Central Market is the perfect place to walk around, check out the samples and even learn a thing or two. Ranging from Chinese food to fresh fish, the stalls that you walk by are amazing. Smells from every ethnic food group waft in the air and you can spend an entire afternoon just browsing!

  4. Step 4

    If you still feel like you need more Free Los Angeles, head over to Hollywood and Highland to take a stroll down the Walk of Stars. This unique concept allows you to walk around, look at the stars and the crazy people (no staring allowed). This is fun for the kids and great exercise. Plus being that the weather is beautiful in Los Angeles, don't be surprised that you won't need to bring a jacket.
