Step 1
Set up your feet just like you would for a kickflip by placing your front foot right behind your front bolts, with the ball of your foot in the middle of the board. The back foot should be on the tail like it would be for an ollie.
-
Step 2
Hit the tail and try to make the board flip on the way up, so the board isn't being pushed down.
-
Step 3
Think about only doing a 90-degree kickflip rather than a full 180-degree kickflip (try to catch the board as you are turned only 90 degrees).
-
Step 4
Push the rest of the turn with your hips and knees once you have the board caught at 90 degrees. If you lead with your shoulders, the rest of your body will follow.

on 9/17/2006 Ride like you normally would at a comfortable speed. Move your front foot on your board nose and your back foot in the middle. Push hard on your front foot and use your back foot to kick up. A nollie is basically a switch ollie.

on 3/7/2006 Put your back foot in the middle of the tail and your front foot where you would for a kickflip. Have your shoulder slightly turned the way your spinning, then kickflip and push your back foot out a bit. Try getting 90 degree frontside flips, then the whole 180.

on 11/22/2005 Get into your normal ollie stance and then snap your tail & slide your foot to the right of the nose. While in the air keep your shoulders lined with your feet.

on 11/22/2005 Put the tip of your front foot behind the front trucks. As you ollie, turn your body. Make sure you lean to the side and keep your shoulders aligned with your board. Try a halfcab flip first.
