The blogger rss can be tricky to find. The RSS feed is basically how people subscribe to your blog. A lot of blog readers use RSS feeds instead of bookmarks. This way they can keep track of a lot of blogs at once & be updated whenever you have a new post through their favorite feed reader. This way you'll retain your readership. However, if you have a .blogspot blog it can be difficult to find your feed. Here is how to share your feed & make it more noticeable on your blog.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Understand the general url. For a blogger rss there is a pretty standard format it's http://yourblog.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default If you go to this url you'll see your recent blog post without your fancy navigation or sidebar.

  2. Step 2

Go to edit layout. In your sidebar area you'll see a link called add a gadget. Here you can choose the "Subscribe to" feature. You can rename the title anything that you want. This will put that universal orange & white box on your site that people recognize as being your feed. When they click on it they will have the option to pick their feed reader & subscribe.

  3. Step 3

If you are still having trouble finding your blogger feed use the firefox find option. Go to edit & then find. Type in RSS or feed. In certain templates, the feed link will be at the bottom of your post.

  4. Step 4

If you find a feed button that you love it can be a way to give your blog a custom look. Just add the image into a gadget & then link it to your feed. This is usually placed at the top of your sidebar to really get people's attention.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try subscribing to your favorite blogs to get the feel of a feed reader. This will give you a better idea of how they work. Plus, you'll save a lot of time because you won't have to keep visiting blogs to see if they have a new post.
