Things You'll Need:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon garlic
- ½ yellow onion
- 1 teaspoon chili spice
- 1 teaspoon canyon pepper
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 zucchini
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 can black beans
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 can pinto beans
- 1 can diced tomato
- 1 can tomato juice
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 1 cup v-8 juice
-
Step 1
First thing you will need to do for this chili recipe is sauté the garlic and onion together in sauté pan. Then add ground beef and brown. Once the ground beef has been browned strain off the extra fat that came out of the meat.
-
Step 2
Then transfer your chili to a slow cooker or saucepan and add the bell pepper and zucchini. Now add all of your seasonings. Add tomato paste and stir until the meet and vegetables are covered. Then drain and add beans and tomatoes. Add tomato juice, v-8, and chicken stock. Stir and let simmer for an hour and a half stirring often.
-
Step 3
At this point the juices should be less than what you started with. If it is to dry add more chicken stock. Now serve with cheese and onion or whatever you like in your chili.
