A Feng Shui Garden is often a delightful place to escape to after a long day. Create harmony, balance, and positive chi (energy) using these Feng Shui Tips.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Feng Shui Tips
  • Feng Shui Garden
  • Flowers
  • Green Plants
  • Bamboo
  • Pond
  • Fountain
  • Textured Rocks
  • Trees
  1. Step 1

One Feng Shui Tip is that feng shui gardens filled with subtle colors of green are prized over a garden filled with brightly colored flowers.

  2. Step 2

Include feng shui elements such as rocks of varying sizes and shapes and textures to add balance to the landscape in feng shui gardens.

  3. Step 3

Another feng shui tip is that 3 or more trees that are planted in a row will act as guardians to the house. These trees should be evergreens that are full and vibrant all year long in the feng shui garden.

  4. Step 4

A fountain in the garden brings an abundance of positive chi (energy) to the home. Water attracts positive chi and the flowing water is said to make money flow to the occupants and attract prosperity.

  5. Step 5

Small pools with gold or silver fish is thought to attract prosperity to the feng shui garden and home.

  6. Step 6

Bring plants of varying shapes and sizes to the garden so that no one plant is more overwhelming than the others. This creates balance according to feng shui principles.

  7. Step 7

Do not over populate the feng shui garden. Less is more becoming in this situation and considered good feng
    shui.

on 9/24/2009 If you use a water fountain in your garden place it in the Abundance area so the flow of water is toward the inside of your property. Keep the flow of abundance toward you not the neighbors.
