How to Get Free Money to Become A Nurse
Been accepted into the Nursing program at the college or university of your choice but don't have the money you need to enroll? Well, check with your nearest Employment Office for FREE money.
The Workforce Investment Act (WIA) has money set aside through the Employment Office to give to qualifying students (no matter your age) to help with tuition, fees, books, board exams, etc. while attending various Nursing programs.

- Employment Office Phone Number
- Birth Certificate
- Social Security Card
- Drivers License
- Proof of Income(if applicable)
- College Transcript(if applicable)

3. Have the following documents available before your scheduled appointment with the Employment Office representative-each office requires different documents-the representative will let you know if other documents besides the ones listed that you need to bring to your appointment:
+ Birth Certificate
+ Social Security Card
+ Drivers License
+ Income documents covering the past SIX (6) MONTHS from the date of your appointment-check stubs, payment records from your employer, etc.
+ Transcript (if you have prior college credits)

I've been in WIA for 9 years, don't forget to add the word, "qualified" for the candidate. Plus the word FREE is misleading...it's our tax dollars. It is a resource that is beneficial! Thanks for the article.
