Things You'll Need:
- A desire for softer, healthier, properly hydrated skin.
-
Step 1
Drink plenty of water to get softer skin. Water is better than other beverages because it is the purest drinking choice you can make. When people drink plenty of water, it actually shows in their faces. They look refreshed and their skin looks soft and touchable. There are, of course, numerous other benefits to drinking plenty of clean, pure water, including the detoxifying effects it has on your body (including your skin). Think of drinking water as the best way to moisturize your skin from the inside out.

Step 2
Wash with cleansers that are not drying if you want softer skin. This means staying away from soaps and sticking with cleansers that have a moisturizing component. Dove bars are a good option because they are inexpensive and are made with a quarter moisturizing lotion.
-
Step 3
Speaking of moisturizer, you will want to moisturize all over, not just your face, but the rest of your body as well. The best time to moisturize is right after you get out of the shower and have just dried off. Again, you don’t have to go for the most expensive brands of moisturizers to get softer skin. Dove (once again) makes plenty of lovely, inexpensive yet effective moisturizers.

Step 4
Make sure you are eating well, focusing on getting plenty of fiber (whole grains) and fruits and vegetables. When you eat a well balanced diet that includes plenty of vitamins and minerals, this is good for every aspect of your health, including the health (and overall moisture level and softness) of your skin, both your facial skin and the skin on the rest of your body.
-
Step 5
For softer skin, make sure you that everything you put on your skin is gentle and does not cause acne or clogged pores. This includes your cleansing products, your exfoliating products, your moisturizers, your make up and everything else that touches your face.
