Things You'll Need:
- Groceries
- Sacks
-
Step 1
Almost every grocery store these days offers you either plastic or paper sacks when you want your groceries sacked. They also offer you to bring your own reusable sacks for a discount. But sometimes, they are not there to sack your groceries whether it be some sort of express lane or a very busy store. In this case, you will be left to sack your own groceries but how?
-
Step 2
The first thing to remember is "like items go together". Its pretty simple. Don't put your meat products with your laundry detergent. Not only will it be bad for the temperature of the meat, but it'll also be unsanitary and cause serious problems. This goes with pretty much anything when it comes to general merchandise and groceries.
-
Step 3
Build Walls
Building walls with boxes can make room to put other stuff inside without causing any harm to the groceries. If you have 2 box products and a whole bunch of other weird shaped products that can go together, put the 2 boxes on the edges of the sack and fill the middle with the other products. This will make the sack much more stable. -
Step 4
Build a floor
If you have a bunch of canned goods you can build a floor with the cans and put items on top. Its pretty simple. -
Step 5
Refrigerated/Frozen
Always put refrigerated/frozen items together so they can help keep themselves cold. Never put them with hot foods or vice versa. -
Step 6
DON'T SQUISH THE BREAD, EGGS, OR CHIPS
Its pretty obvious. Don't put heavy items on top of weak items or else you are asking for disaster.
