Things You'll Need:
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup water
- large plastic margarine container

Step 1
In a medium-sized saucepan, mix baking soda, cornstarch, salt and water. Heat on high until mixture comes to a boil.

Step 2
Turn heat to low & continue mixing until mixture becomes thick and hard to stir. Remove from heat.

Step 3
Knead with your hands when cool.

Step 4
Place the clay into a large plastic margarine container and flatten out on top.

Step 5
Have you child place her hand firmly into the clay.

Step 6
Give it a couple days to fully harden before removing it from the container.
