Things You'll Need:
- 1/2 lb. peeled and deveined shrimp
- 1 stick of butter
- 6 oz. white wine
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 package of linguine
- Medium skillet
- 2 quart saucepan
- Broad knife for pressing garlic
-
Step 1
First you will need to prepare the garlic for cooking. I find the easiest method is to lay the garlic on a hard surface and taking a broad knife, lay the flat edge on top of the garlic and press down hard. Voila, the garlic is peeled! Put on a pan of water to boil for the linguine.
-
Step 2
Next melt the butter in skillet over medium heat, while that is going on, chop the garlic either fine or coarse to your preference, I prefer coarse myself.
-
Step 3
Once the butter is all melted, sauté the garlic until fragrant. Personally, by this point I am salivating as it smells so good. When water is boiling, add noodles and cook until just done. Strain and put into a bowl
