Things You'll Need:
- A password
- The internet
-
Step 1
First, choose the root word(s) for your password. Make sure that you can recall it, so it'd be best if you used something close to you. For example, let's use 'Black'
-
Step 2
Next, add numbers to your password. Numbers are a good way to make it safer. Let's decide on 750, making the password 'Black750'.
-
Step 3
Most passwords these days are have to be typed in the exact same way as when you registered. Make sure that if you put in mixed uppercase and lower case letters, you'll be able to remember it. For our example, we'll be using 'BLack750'
-
Step 4
You can throw in some symbols, just to be safe. Symbols include ?, *, ^, @, and more. Let's say 'BL@ck750_'
-
Step 5
Finally, open up a search engine on the internet. This will be your 'checker'. Type in your password. An ideal one would have no hits at all, though under a hundred is usually safe. Our password, 'BL@ck750_' has returned no hits, making it secure. Voila! You now have a secure password. Make sure you remember it!
