give great customer service on Ebay
give great customer service on Ebay

We all want customers who will buy our products as well as returning customers. One way to ensure this is to offer outstanding customer service.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Ebay Seller Account
  • Easy Access to computer
  • Positive atitude
  • Willingness to work hard
  • Desire for excellence
  1. Step 1

We all shop. Think about what you expect from your own shopping experience. Do you want fast, friendly service? Be willing to provide the same for your online customers. Service with a smile. You'll be amazed at what the simplest detail can do.

  2. Step 2

Check email often, not just on Ebay side, but your own personal email that is linked to Ebay. Any questions answer them promptly with as much detail as possible so your customer has all the facts necessary. Could mean the difference between a sale or lost sale.

  3. Step 3

If a problem arises deal with it promptly. Show your customer you care and you're willing to fix it. Even if it means giving your customer a partial or full refund keeping a good reputation is one thing you need to strive for on Ebay.

  4. Step 4

Good Communication is a must. If there is going to be a delay in shipping send an email to your customer let them know this and why. Even though you are not dealing with a customer face to face act as though you were and talk with them honestly and keep them updated when necessary.

  5. Step 5

Offer customers an incentive for buying your products. Free shipping for example for buying 2 instead of one. Gift wrap service. Get creative and have fun with it. Pleasing your customers creates positive buzz and word of mouth travels fast!!!

Tips & Warnings
  • Remember you can't please everyone, do your best & move on.
  • Leave timely & honest feedback

  • Don't Give Up
