If you are looking for a way to track your daily or weekly exercise, an exercise log is a good way to see at a glance what you've done.

Having an exercise chart or log makes you accountable for your exercise, and might motivate you to stick to your program.

Here's how to make your own exercise log, or keep track of one online.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

If you are looking for an online exercise log, there are several available to choose from.

At MaintainFit.com (resource link #1) you can choose from a dozen different activity logs including Running, walking, yoga and swimming. You do need to register to use the site, but it is free.

EvenFit.com (resource link #2) will allow you to download their software program for free in exchange for your feedback about the program. Their program has a lot to offer. In addition to the exercise log, you can also track your sleep, body weight and calories.

  2. Step 2

If you prefer to have an exercise log that you don't have to log onto your computer to use, try printing one of the free exercise charts from Answerfitness.com. (resource link #3). At Answerfitness.com you can choose daily or weekly exercise logs and you can also chose between PDF, Microsoft Word or HTML. You need to scroll all the way to the bottom of their page for the exercise logs.

Another great, easy to use, exercise chart can be found at Squawkfox.com (resource link #4). This chart is basic and very easy to read and understand.

  3. Step 3

You can also create your own exercise log using any Word type program. Just open your Word program, and look for where you can make a table. You can customize it to meet your needs and print it out.
