Do you have a junk drawer full of plastic bags that you get from the stores?

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Creativity..
  1. Step 1

One thing I like to reuse the bags for is: trash bags in my small trash cans. I also keep a few in my car and when I am waiting for everyone to get in the car, I get the trash, or get the kids to give me the trash and I stash the trash in my plastic bags. When we stop for gas, I trash the stash. It is amazing how fast that bag can get full, and how fast the car can get tidied up.

  2. Step 2

The bags are great to add stuffing to presents and add stuffing to packages to be mailed.

  3. Step 3

You can put them in a bag and bring back to a recycle plastic bags bin at a local grocery store.

  4. Step 4

Give them to a local thrift store, to use for their customers purchases.

  5. Step 5

I like putting my peelings and scraps in them when I am cutting or peeling vegetables. Instead of peeling potatoes over the trash can, you can peel them over the opened plastic bag.

  6. Step 6

Put potted plants in the bags, when you are transporting in your car, to keep the dirt from dirtying your car.

  7. Step 7

Plastic bags are great for trips to put your wet clothes in or to put dirty clothes in.

Please leave comments, of your other ideas of reuse and recycling of the plastic bags that stores give you.

on 6/15/2009 I use them to pack my shoes in my suitcase so that they don't get my clothes dirty.
