  • 1 package of oreos, double stuff
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 slab of cream cheese
  • 1 package of instant chocolate pudding
  • 1 cup of confectioners sugar
  • 3 cups of milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • Gummy worms

Instructions

      Use a food processor to crush the package of oreos. They should be fully crushed down to a very coarse but consistent dust. Put it aside in a large bowl.

      In a separate bowl, use a hand mixer or a stand mixer to combine (in this order) the butter, confectioners sugar, cream cheese, milk, pudding mix, and vanilla. Mix thoroughly - mixture should be a thick and creamy light brown color.

      In the serving bowl - a colorful plastic pail is great for serving to kids - layer the two mixtures. Start with the crushed oreos, and alternate layers that are about an inch thick. Add gummy worms randomly at different layers as you go. When finished, refrigerate until and in between when you serve.

Tips & Warnings

  • Serving in a plastic pail with a cute plastic shovel can be fun for kids

  • Make sure you crush the oreos completely and mix the filling completely
