How to Use a Keg Tap

f you need a little help on how to tap a keg this is the place. We are going to be dealing with your standard ball tap some kegs require different types of taps so make sure your keg matches your tap!

Instructions

1. Place your keg directly in front of you and remove the little cap over the round opening in the middle of the keg.

2. Make sure your tap is ready by making sure the handle is point upwards. If it s not pull out on the handle and then pull up.

3. Now you are ready to tap the keg. Place the tap in the round opening in the middle of the keg. It will fit in snuggly. Now turn the tap clockwise until you can not turn it anymore and pull out on the handle and push it down. You might want to do this pretty quickly as you could spray some beer from the keg if not. Now enjoy your keg.

Tips & Warnings

• Try not to shake your keg when transporting this will lead to foamy beer. If shaking is unavoidable give the keg some time to sit and settle before tapping.
• This is for your standard ball tap there are other taps for different kegs like Guinness make sure you have the right tap for your keg.
• Don't forget the accessories such as cups!
