Things You'll Need:
- Your drinkin' shoes
- 2 American Pint cans of Guinness
- 3 shots of whiskey (preferably Irish)
- 3 shots of Irish Cream Liquor (preferably Bailey's)
- ~8 ounce "shot glass"
- A "cup" large enough to hold ~40 ounces of booze
-
Step 1
Gather your drinking vessels; your mug and your shot glass. Perhaps the most important feature when choosing your goblets is the capacity of the Guinness glass. Is your 32 oz beer going to overflow when you drop in a glass holding six shots (six shooter)? If the answer is no, please move to step 2.
-
Step 2
Guinness - sweet bitter nectarPour the two cans of Guinness into the larger glass. Pour the Guinness respectfully (at ~45 degree angle), or it will foam up, and you will hear about it from every beer snob on Youtube, as I did.
-
Step 3
Jameson Irish WhiskeyPour three shots of Irish whiskey into the over-sized shot glass. If you watch the referenced video, you'll notice that I used Canadian Club to save a couple of bucks. Die-hard car bomb fans will burn you for this. If I had to do it all again, I'd probably use Powers; a great tasting, relatively inexpensive Irish whiskey.
-
Step 4
Bailey's Irish Cream LiquorPour three shots of Irish Cream liquor into the existing whiskey shot. Purists will insist on Bailey's, but you won't see me complain if you go with the budget brand.
-
Step 5
Drop the payload shot into the Guinness, and finish the drink as quickly as possible.
-
Step 6
You have about 10 minutes before you black out, so quickly complete any pending tasks or errands (within walking distance, of course).

on 2/23/2009 It's a doozy alright. I saw one on YouTube called the Metropolis Car Bomb...one gallon of Guinness and a full pint of shots. It took several people like 10 minutes to drink the thing. Thanks for reading!
