Want to learn how to make a party promo flyer with photoshop Cs4?

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer, Photoshop, PSD'S and patience.
  1. Step 1

Open a new file. File > New. Set the dimensions to 1000 Pixels times 1000 pixels. Make sure the picture is big enough to work with.

  2. Step 2

Dont forget proportions. If the psds you have require resizing go to edit> free transform and hold down the shift key as you resize. Shadows and reflections.( Google tutorials on those.)
Typography..color scheme. Is the flyer going to be printed or not? cmyk color if so and it can be rgb if not.

  3. Step 3

Visit officialpsds.com for psds to insert into the picture. If you have psds, skip this step. I usually use psd cutouts, but psd cutouts are not required to have an excellently put together flyer.

  4. Step 4

Set any color you like. Mess around with the background color. I used a victorian pattern in the background because i felt it looked nice.

  5. Step 5

Insert PSD's as you like. Make sure the fonts you use are clear and can be legibly read, yet eye catching. i used only one font. Impact.

Tips & Warnings
  • Mix it up! Use different PSD'S!
  • Make Sure people can read the information for the party, etc. RATE ME PLEASE.
  • Your Flyer usually requires blending. Visit youtube.com/xclusiivdesign for blending tutorials.
