Do you want to set up Google Sync for you calendar and contacts on your Windows Mobile phone? Read below to learn how to set up your phone correctly and start getting automatic syncing.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Windows Mobile Cell Phone
  • Google Calendar (and account)
  1. Step 1

    First, back up all your existing phone contacts and calendar events - they will be deleted when you begin using google sync. Then open the WM phone's Active Sync program.

  2. Step 2

    Once open - click set up your device to sync with it. If you had a previous wired connection you will have to delete it.

  3. Step 3

    Once the you click the set up line you will be moved to the next page - enter the following:
    - m.google.com for the server address
    - Check the SSL option

  4. Step 4

    You will then be prompted to enter your google account information - enter in your gmail / google calendar login information.

  5. Step 5

    Check the contacts and calendar options and press finish in the bottom right corner - your phone is now set up!

Tips & Warnings
  • Be sure to backup all your phone contact and calendar information - this will be deleted!
