Here's a cool skateboard trick that requires a partial backside ollie and makes lots of noise when you do it right.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • Skate Rails
  • Skateboard Decks
  • Skateboard Helmets
  • Skateboard Pads
  • Skateboard Parts
  • Skateboard Trucks
  • Skateboard Wheels
  • Skateboarding Shoes
  • Skateboards
Step1
Approach the obstacle (a low curb that slides well and has an end is good to start with) with your back to it, and at a parallel angle.
Step2
Execute a small ollie when you get near the obstacle, but don't level the ollie out.
Step3
Land with your rear wheels and underside of your tail pressed down on the edge of the curb, so you are nearly standing on one foot, your chest facing forward.
Step4
Lean back a little to slide. The faster you're going, the further you'll slide, and the louder the screech of your wheels will be.
Step5
Turn your hips back to your original riding position, set your wheels down, and roll away to come out of the trick.

Tips & Warnings

  • Once you have the basics down you can take it to higher objects and pop out with no end.
  • If you want to pop out of this trick, you must learn to pressure ollie out from the blunt position as you turn your body like you would in a backside ollie. This takes some time to learn, so get the bluntslide down coming off an end first.
  • Never overwax your board! Bluntslides require speed, not wax.
  • Skateboarding is an inherently dangerous activity that can result in serious injury or death. We recommend that you seek proper training and equipment before attempting this activity.

on 8/5/2006 To do a Casper flip, have the front of your foot in a kickflip position, but most of your toe should be on the board. Now flip it like a kickflip, but don't extend your legs.Once your leg has caught the board, flick your foot in a half circle direction and you should land it. It's easier to do if you catch the flip knee-high, at least.
